Chaos For All: Demo 2011
04/10/11 || sly
Is Finland really this depressing? It seems like so many bands I’ve heard come out of Finland lately are on this sort of boring, suicidal kick. The lyrical content is along the lines of misunderstood love, existential crises, closet homosexuality, etc.
Chaos For All exhibit some very weak and awful nails-on-a-chalkboard nasally vocals that make me so happy this demo is just over 13 minutes long. Seriously, it sounds like this guy is singing. Actually he would probably do a better job.
The music isn’t quite as terrible as the vocals, but it sounds something like I would have heard on the local heavy rock station in the early 2000s. It’s kind of a third division, latter day Sentenced meets Seether feat. Amy Lee. That’s pretty grim.
Did I mention that the dude’s vocals are fucking wretched? Like my farts after two days of eating bean burritos wretched. (Though maybe if he were a hot girl, the poor quality vocals would magically be excused in some circles.)
So there you have it, guys. Don’t fucken bother yourself with this. Instead why don’t you go beat off to this. You know you want to.
2/10 Bean burritos are delicious, but they sure make for some nasty ass-gas.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
